The 2008 Kenya champions used Odibets-branded kits for the match against champions Gor Mahia in their league match in Kisumu on Sunday.

After a promising start to the season that saw them feature in the top four for majority of the first leg, their performance plummeted due to financial issues.

Speaking to Nation Sport, club CEO Jecton Obure said that the sponsorship is a big reprieve as they strategise on mounting a strong challenge for the league title next season.

"This sponsorship has come at the right time because we have been struggling financially. It is a big boost for our preparations for next season which starts in December. We have a good team and we believe that if we make good signings and have a good pre-season, we can challenge for honours," said an optimistic Obure.
