Harambee Stars coach Sebastian Migne has been boosted by the return of Gor Mahia defender Joash Onyango after missing the 0-0 draw against Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Group “F” qualifier due to suspension.
Onyango, who was red-carded in the second half of the 1-0 win over Ghana last month, is available for selection after resuming training with the rest of the squad at Kasarani on Friday.

“I don’t know, you will have the answer in three days,” Migne said.
The Friday session saw the Frenchman take the players through small-sided games dropping speedy winger Ovella Ochieng’ for Erick “Marcelo” Ouma on the left flank as Eric Johanna shifted to the right wing.
Francis Kahata assumed his favourite number ten position playing behind striker Michael Olunga as Dennis Odhiambo and captain Victor Wanyama partnered in midfield in the 11-aside training game.
Patrick Matasi retained his position in goal with the central defence comprising of Musa Mohammed and Brian Mandela as Philemon Otieno and Abud Omar occupied their right and left back positions respectively.
If that setup is anything to go by, Migne will line up an offensive 4-3-3 formation that will see Johanna and Marcelo support target man Olunga from the flanks.
“We need to improve our link up offensively, we are strong now defensively with some clean sheets,” added the 45-year-old Migne.
“We are on the way but we need the 12th man to come and support the team, it won’t be easy without them.”
