Shabana will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they host Bidco United at Gusii Stadium in a National Super League (NSL) clash on Sunday.

The Glamour boys are winless in the last three matches, a run attributed to blank striking force according to Coach Gilbert Selebwa.

Leaders Ushuru host Eldoret Youth at Ruaraka grounds as second-placed Talanta visit Thika United at the Thika Sub-County stadium in other high-profile encounters.

Third-placed Wazito host Kisumu AllStars at Camp Toyoyo grounds with three other fixtures scheduled for Monday.

“We’ve dropped nine vital points, the mood in camp is that everyone must give his best because of high expectations from the members who are trying to help this team finish in a better position,” Shabana coach Selebwa told Nation Sport on Saturday.

“Officiating has been a major contributor to our poor run because we’ve been denied penalties and genuine goals,” added Selebwa who will watch the game from the stands following his suspension by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for accosting referees in their 1-0 loss away to Eldoret Youth on Wednesday.

His assistant Andrew Kanuli will hold brief in his absence.

On the Bidco meeting, Selebwa said: “Every game in NSL is difficult because none of the teams want to play in this league next season. I believe if we convert the many chances we create, we should surprise Bidco,” concluded the former AFC Leopards coach.

Bidco coach Anthony Akhulia, whose charges are unbeaten in the last five games, is confident of picking a positive result.

“We need to be mentally upright because Shabana fans are intimidating at home,” he said adding: “This is the toughest game as they will not want to lose for the fourth time but we’ve prepared well and are ready to play our hearts out for victory.”

Elsewhere, cash-strapped Kangemi AllStars face a two-hour trip to Naivasha to tackle eleventh-placed Kenya Police at Karuturi grounds.

“We are hopeful to raise the needed amount in order to honour this game,” said Kangemi secretary general John Mugo whose team gave a walkover to Modern Coast Rangers in midweek.
