Shabana started on a high note in their 2018/2019 National Super League (NSL) season opener stopping hosts St. Joseph’s Youth 1-0 at Afraha stadium in Nakuru country on Saturday.

The team was promoted from the third-tier last season following a successful playoff victory over Mwatate United at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani on October 28.
