Sony Sugar on Sunday come from behind to hold hosts Sofapaka to a 1-1 draw in a Kenyan Premier League match at the Ruaraka grounds, Nairobi

In another encounter, league debutants Wazito suffered yet another defeat, this time a comprehensive 3-1 loss to Chemelil Sugar at the Chemelil Sports Complex.

Earlier at the same venue, eleven-time champions Tusker were Sunday held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by newcomers Vihiga United.

The home side under the tutelage of Ugandan coach Sam Timbe missed a host of chances in the encounter and will be disappointed not to take all three points in the contest.

The result sees the Brewers remain in 13th place with 10 points, with Vihiga United maintaining their 14th spot, a point less than their opponents on Sunday.

Vihiga launched their first attack through Dennis Wafula on the left flank but Eugene Asike was there to clear the danger. Vincent Wonder set up Andrew Murunga in another promising attack but the latter's shot went far wide the left post.
