Nation FC on Saturday registered their first away win of the season, defeating a team of Nakuru-based former Kenyan Premier League players, Nakuru Wazee, 3-2 at Afraha Stadium.

The midday kick off in Nakuru saw Nation FC score through John ‘Jontes’ Ohuma, Antony Makokha and pacy Eric Musungu. The hosts scored their goals through Mike Wanyonyi and Chris Bunei.

Nation FC is using the friendlies matches to prepare for Left Foot Sports League matches in Nairobi. The draw for the league will be done on Thursday. So far, Nation FC have played four matches on the road, losing 2-3 to FKF Nakuru County League side Longonot Horticulture and drawing 2-2 with Coast Media Combined at Uwanja wa Mbuzi grounds in Mombasa County.
