Ulinzi Stars beat error-prone KCB 3-1 in a highly entertaining SportPesa Premier League match at the Afraha Stadium on Sunday.

The military side took the lead in the 42nd minute after an accelerating Daniel Waweru was appended inside the penalty area, forcing centre referee Amin Agik to point at spot with Elijah Mwanzia slotting home.

The visiting KCB improved in the second half, camping in the Ulinzi backyard and finally got an equaliser after speedy striker Clifton Kisiavuki finished off a inviting cross by Simon Abuko.

It was as see-saw battle as both keepers James Saruni and Peter Manyika made brilliant saves in an exciting second stanza of the game.
