Zambia-based duo called up as Stars depart for India

Zambia-based duo of Clifton Miheso and John Makwatta have been called up to the Harambee Stars' squad headed to India for the Intercontinental Cup that kicks off on Friday at the Mumbai Football Arena.

A squad of 15 players jetted out on Wednesday morning and will be joined on Thursday by six others who are awaiting their travelling documents.

Tusker’s rookie goalkeeper Byrne Omondi was called in to replace Gor Mahia’s Boniface Oluoch, while Vihiga United and Thika United defenders Bernard Ochieng’ and Dennis Odhiambo took up the places of Joash Onyango and Harun Shakava from Gor Mahia.
