Kenya Open Golf Championship Tournament Director, Patrick Obath, said: “We are delighted to have Johnnie Walker as our hole-in-one partner for the Muthaiga leg of the Safari Tour Golf series and believe that we will see players getting out of their comfort zones to take calculated risks as they seek to win the prize. Speaking during the announcement, Muthaiga Golf Club’s resident Professional Golfer, Nelson Mudanyi, welcomed Johnnie Walker’s sponsorship of the Safari Tour adding that it will be an extra incentive for the players.

The 72- hole event which has attracted 50 professionals from the East Africa region, starts with Saturday’s Pro-Am event where Muthaiga members and guests of Kenya Open Golf Limited and the sponsors will have a chance of playing with the professionals
