An enticing looking Kenya Communications Sports Organisation (Kecoso) Games football title decider awaits fans after Communication Authority of Kenya (CA) and Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) stormed the final to be held on Thursday following high scoring semi-final victories in Kakamega that involved 11 goals scored.

CA dismissed last year's champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) 3-2 in the first semi-final, while PCK, with five goals from Jeremiah Wanjala, demolished Kenya Airways Authority (KAA) 5-1 in the second semi-final at Bukhungu Stadium to set up their 2pm kick-off final encounter.

The third place play-off match between KPA and KAA will begin at 10am.

PCK's Wanjala found the net twice in the first half, before claiming three in the second half for his quintet of goals.

CA dominated their semis match and unsurprisingly grabbed the lead via Emmanuel Mugaka in the fifth minute.

Job Tinyo doubled the scored in the 22nd minute for a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.

Stephen Muiya pulled a goal back for KPA on 48 minutes before Raphael Okello equalised in the 61st minute.

But CA’s midfielder Sebastian Osodo netted in the 86th minute to depose the champions.

You will have to feel for guest team, Kakamega Homeboyz FC Under-20 team that topped Pool “A” with a 100 percent record but were not eligible to play in the knock-out stages as they were not members of Kecoso.

KAA sneaked to the semis on that account but could not progress any further.

Said CA coach Abdalla Juma: “I am happy the players put in their best. I assure fans that they would be treated to an entertaining match.”

PCK tactician Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo said: “We should not be underrated at all. We came to win.”

KPA successfully defended their women’s basketball title beating PCK 72-63 in the final at Kakamega High School.
