Henry Atola's thumping header at the death was what Kakamega High School needed to win the boys' Under -19 football title with a 1-0 victory over newcomers Olbolsat at the National Secondary School Term Two Games at the Hill School, Eldoret on Saturday.

The victory saw the Green Commandos win a record 13th title and their first since their triumph in 2014 at the Bukhungu Stadium.

Kakamega were the better side, creating a host of chances which were however brilliantly kept out by Olbolsat keeper Victor Mwangi.

With extra time lurking, Kakamega won a corner and skipper Boniface Ooko delivered a sweetly taken in swinger which Atola headed past Mwangi to send Kakamega fans into frenzy.
