Coach Frank Ndong' disclosed that they have also raided Strathmore University stable for prop Elkeans Musonye and George Orembo, who will operate at fullback and rightwing.

Ndong' is happy to have influential backs Samuel Oliech and Nato Simiyu and forward Derrick Mayar back in training.

However, still out owing to work commitment and injuries are locks Davis Makori and Shem Joseph and prop Joshua Momanyi.

“We didn’t have close to 18 players before we took a break but I can now put up a competitive side,” said Ndong'. “Nondies were a revelation in the first leg hence we won't take them for granted.”

Though worried about the injuries, Nondies coach Willis Ojal has back row Lewis “Threeman” Ochieng back in training.
“We are really concerned about the injuries but we are still on the right track,” said Ojal.
Fijian fullback Jone Kubu is back to reinforce league leaders Kabras Sugar’s quest for the title alongside Kenyan international second row Andrew Chogo.

Kubu was in Kabras Sugar’s 2016 Kenya Cup winning side.

Defending champions Kenya Commercial Bank have not signed any player during the transfer window as they prepare to host Mean Machine from the University of Nairobi on Saturday at Ruaraka.

“We have been working hard on smaller details in our game pattern and approach in set play,” said KCB coach Curtis Olago. “We might have lost one match in the first leg but got to use a large pool of players.”
