What you need to know:
- Billy Odhiambo, Edwin Machanje, Marvin “Matelong” Odiembo and Salaton Muturi have all resumed training and will be ready for selection against Strathmore Leos on Saturday.

Stanbic Mwamba has been boosted by the return of key players ahead of resumption of Kenya Cup league matches this weekend.
Fahad Mohamed, the club team manager, was quoted by the club's website saying that they are glad that Billy Odhiambo, Edwin Machanje, Marvin “Matelong” Odiembo and Salaton Muturi have all resumed training and will be ready for selection against Strathmore Leos on Saturday.
Other notable players who missed the first phase of the league matches and are now training include captain Patrick Ruhiu, loosehead Brian “Gym” Otieno, Chris Hulk Asira and lock Paul Wahome.
Hookers Brian Kahura and Kevin Kerore have also recovered from their injuries and are equally raising their hands to catch the attention of head coach Kevin Wambua.
Fahad however rued the unavailability of Brian Kivasia who sustained a knee injury in a game against KCB in December. “Kivasia has been ruled for a couple of months as his injury needs surgery. This is unfortunate as he was just regaining form after more than a year out with a shoulder injury,” he said.
At the same time, Wambua has revealed that he’s been working on sealing the leaks that led to a slow start to the season with the club having to wait till the fourth game to register their first victory. “We started poorly and was due to some errors we made against the three teams we lost to. We want to ensure that we get maximum points in the next games to put us in a very good position to compete for play off positions,” he said.
Stanbic Mwamba are currently placed eighth with seven points, three behind Nakuru RFC. They kick off their 2019 rugby calendar against Leos at Madaraka Grounds, Strathmore University on Saturday afternoon.
