This year’s Championships has adapted a new festival format approach unlike the previous years where the tournament was held across Nairobi.

Nairobi School hosted the first festival with Lenana School hosting the second festival on Saturday.

However, Prescott Committee chairman Mwangi Karimi revealed that the format is meeting bottlenecks owing to the change in National Schools Games.

Karimi said they will now meet on Monday to see how they will harmonise the championships with Second Term School Games so as to avoid walkovers.

“Most teams had to play their Second Term matches before coming to Lenana for Prescott Cup,” said Karimi. “The change for School Games format has affected us.”

Prescott Cup will from next year break its Nairobi boundaries to four other regions in Nyanza, Rift Valley, Eastern and Coast
