Acting education cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i says the government will crackdown on politicians and others inciting communities to reject and block newly posted headteachers from reporting for duty.
Dr. Matiang’i directed the regional and county commissioners to arrest any more trouble makers behind the violent eviction of the new headteachers from school, saying the decision will not be reversed.
Meanwhile, 6 Makueni MCAs arrested yesterday for blocking the new principal of St. Joseph’s girls Kibwezi from taking office have been released on a 300, 000 shillings cash bail each. Sheila Sendeyo reports.
