Wheat prices have dropped
Have you noticed that the prices of wheat flour on the shelf have been significantly lower than they were in December last year?
This is demand from consumers has become low, forcing processors to review prices. The price of a two-kilo packet has dropped by an average of 15 shillings each, from 130 shillings two months ago. The cereal millers association says the change in prices is also attributable to increased volumes of wheat in the country, largely due to imports.
