FIA President Jean Todt will officially open the WRC Safari Rally Project's new headquarters at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani on the 27th February.
The government gazetted a steering and organising committee to return the Safari Rally back to the World Rally Championship by 2020.
The route for this year's event will mainly be centered in Naivasha where 221 of 581 kilometres will be competitive. The course and event has been tailored to suit WRC specifications.
The event will also double up as the second round of Africa Rally Championship, and will be held from the 15th to the 17th March.
