Kenyans warned against late cancer screening
Kenya Ports Authority Head of Medical Services Dr. Gome Lenga has advised Kenyans to go for early checkups for cancer.
He says stage one cancer is treatable but stage three or four it involves high costs and a struggle for the patient.
He says people in urban areas ignore checkups and go when it’s too late while those in rural areas go for medical camps due to lack of facilities.
