Slain cleric’s case: Aboud Rogo widow’s appeal to be heard on Friday
A ruling on whether the wife of controversial slain Muslim cleric Aboud Rogo, Hania Sagar, will be released on bond pending hearing of her appeal against a 10 year jail term will be delivered on Friday. ***Sagar who was found guilty of conspiring, with three slain women, to attack Central police station Mombasa wants her jail term suspended. The Director of Public Prosecutions opposed an application by Hania Sagar to be released on bond. The ruling was to be delivered on Tuesday by Justice Dora Chepkwony but she told the parties that she was unwell hence adjourning it to Friday.
