Muslims faithful across the country have been urged to dedicate the last 10 days of Ramadhan to pray for peace and unity in the country. Speaking during an Iftar dinner in Tana River county, Chief Administrative Secretary for Devolution Ambassador Hussein Dado asked Muslims to spend time praying in the mosque. He also challenged religious leaders to use the freedom of speech to preach peace and unity in the country. Dado who is the immediate former Governor of Tana River County was with Deputy President William Ruto during his Coast tour over the weekend in Malindi, Mombasa and Kwale over the weekend.
