Faraja Cancer Trust hosted the fifth White Water Rafting Challenge in River Sagana bringing together 44 teams for the three-day rafting challenge. The challenge was in a bid to raise funds to support cancer patients and their caregivers in Kenya. This year's edition raised 5.5 million shillings towards the trust. The Faraja Cancer Support Trust was founded in 2010 with the aim of providing emotional, practical and healing support to anyone affected by cancer. The trust offers cancer patients and their carer givers information, advice, counselling and complementary therapy in order to make their cancer journey just a little more manageable.
