The adoption of block chain technology globally, is gaining traction with 20 of the world's renowned technological minds, holding a forum to deliberate on ways of expanding its usage, in Africa.
The forum which is taking place in Marrakech, Morocco, is being hosted by Sir Richard Branson. Google's Co-founder, Sergey Brin, is also in attendance. Africa is represented by Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for ICT, Joe Mucheru, who was once Google Sub-Sahara Africa's Lead. The 4-day Block-chain Summit, ends on Wednesday. Nearly six months ago, the CS set up an 11-member taskforce on Block-chain and the Internet, of Things technologies.
