Youths left stranded after falling victim to a fake KWS recruitment exercise
Dozens of Nyeri youths were yesterday left stranded and frustrated after falling victim to a fake Kenya Wildlife Service recruitment exercise.
The youth who braved the cold morning found themselves staring at an empty Ruring’u Stadium after the purported recruitment turned out to be a hoax.
Following a message that was circulating on social media, the young men and women showed up armed with certificates and training gear hoping to land a government job.
“Personally I travelled from Murang’a and arrived at 6AM just to make sure I do not get locked out. I was very prepared and hopeful I would succeed this time. Many of us hoped to pass,” Mr Githinji Murage said.
