Governor Muriithi faults CS Matiang'i for disarming the NPRs saying it has increased banditry attack
The government has assured residents in the banditry prone areas in Laikipia County of enough security. Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the ministry of Interior and Coordination, Mr Patrick Ole Ntutu has said that there were adequate security officers to deal with the menace. Mr Ntutu who spoke at Marmanet area in Laikipia West during a tree planting exercise at Marmanet forest was responding to complaints from local leaders led by Governor Ndiritu Muriithi and nominated MCA Ms Irene Wacuka over heightened insecurity in the region.
