A family in W. Pokot in agony after their 13-year old daughter, candidate, was forced into marriage
A family in Kaptolomwo village, Kasei ward, West Pokot is in agony after a thirteen-year-old class eight candidate school girl who has been missing for more than a month now after she was abducted from her home on 26th April 2019 and forced into marriage.
The student who is index number two in her class at Kaptolomwo Primary school was abducted by 32 men abducted her from home while asleep .
Reports indicate that the young girl was taken to neighboring country Uganda for hiding. As religious leaders now put the government on task to look for her.
Her family fears that she could be raped and forced into early marriage.
Her mother says that she believes her daughter was taken to neighboring country Uganda.
